Ok so I went with my big sis to Art in the Park last Saturday. It was fun I saw a whole bunch of kids from my school and had a terrific time drawing , and playing in the chalk. Me and Trysta both looked like we were canvases ourselves, XD she pent an hour in the shower scrubbing off all the chalk.
The best thing was just drawing with the chalk, cause I've never really colored with chalk, besides the normal scribbling on the road I did as a kid, but that doesn't really count.
I wasn't planning on winning anything, I wasn't any where near as good as some of the people there, I mean some of them looked like paintings, it was amazing what some of the people did. Yet after waiting for about half an hour for the judges to finally figure everything out, and all the places were called for the high school division and two honorable mentions were called they called our space number !!
I was kinda stunned because we had called our picture the Acid Trip, cause that's what it looked like ( I'll up load some pics of it some time ).
And just to make things all the more wonderful, we were called before Ashley was called, who is An ex-friend of my big sis , whom I detest greatly for what she did to Trysta.
^^ but I had fun, ,and I have to say that one of my friends families is the nicest -and most prepared- families I have meet in awhile. They had umbrellas, food, water and some spending money, and hand wipes XD. They gave us some strawberries, and bought us ice cream after us being driven crazy by an ice cream truck that was circling the park and taunting me and Trysta. They also gave us some hand wipes after we had finished.
All in all we had a great time and I can't wait for next year !!
